McMaster for Governor Campaign Announces Law Enforcement Leaders Coalition

May 31, 2018

Coalition Led by SC Sheriff of the Year Barry Faile

COLUMBIA – Today, the McMaster for Governor campaign announced a coalition of current and former law enforcement leaders who have endorsed Henry McMaster in his re-election campaign. As the only candidate with law enforcement experience, this coalition represents Governor McMaster’s unique understanding of what the law enforcement community needs to keep our state safe.

“As your governor, I am committed to preserving the rule of law in South Carolina, which is why I am fighting to ban sanctuary cities and increase funding for corrections officers. I am honored to have the endorsement of law enforcement officials who have dedicated their lives to enforcing the law and keeping the people of this state safe.” – Governor Henry McMaster

“There is only one candidate in this race with the law enforcement experience to keep South Carolina strong and secure: Henry McMaster. From his years as U.S. attorney, to his two terms as attorney general, Governor Henry McMaster has locked up scores of criminals, prosecuted public corruption, and developed a unique understanding of the resources and support the law enforcement community needs to carry out their duties. I back Henry, because I know Henry backs us.” – Barry Faile, Lancaster Sheriff and 2018 SC Sheriff of the Year
