RSLC Adds Pamela Evette to 18 in ’18: Races to Watch

October 18, 2018

COLUMBIA – Today, the Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC)  announced that lieutenant governor nominee Pamela Evette has been added to their “18 in ’18: Races to Watch” list, comprised of candidates who have been identified as “rising stars who will champion conservative policies while representing the full diversity of the nation.”

“Republicans at the state level would not be reaching historical highs without the growing diversity of our party and candidates like Pamela Evette. Pam represents the best from our Future Majority Project (FMP) and Right Women, Right Now (RWRN) initiatives.  The RSLC has invested over $20 million in these initiatives since 2011, electing 500 new female and 100 new diverse office holders in the process,” – Matt Walter, RSLC president

“I am honored to be recognized alongside many talented Republican men and women who are committed to serving across our country. I look forward to bringing my business experience and fresh perspective to Columbia to work with Governor McMaster on behalf of South Carolina’s families and businesses.” – Pamela Evette, lieutenant governor nominee
